On National Mentorship Day, 1000 Dreams Fund Partners with Colgate-Palmolive and Other Leading Companies for Year Three of its National Mentorship Program for Women “MentorHER”


In partnership with non-profit and for-profit organizations, including the title sponsor Colgate-Palmolive Company, MentorHER pairs women from college, graduate school, and recent graduates, with professionals and executives for a one-hour, 1: 1 mentoring session. 1DF will celebrate the return of the program with the theme ‘Women in Leadership’ while providing students with additional mentoring opportunities through workshops throughout the year and a library of on-demand content soon to be released. on the 1000 Dreams Fund website.

Mentorship programs have been shown to have a positive impact on young people. According to the National Mentoring Partnership, those who have mentors are 130% more likely to hold leadership positions. MentorHER matches students with professionals from various industries and at all levels, including CEOs, with matches based on career goals and backgrounds. Since its launch in 2019, the program has generated over 500 hours of mentoring working with top Fortune 100 companies, small businesses, and nonprofits.
