Many of us look to LPGA players for style inspiration on the course. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery – and who wouldn’t want to be able to play like them? OK OK. We know it doesn’t work that way. But, if you want to steal some style tips from the best of the best, here are seven trends the pros are rocking this summer that are sure to be a hit on your home run.

These vintage-inspired tops will elevate your golf outfit and the lightweight knit material is perfect for chilly mornings on the course. Pair it with your favorite retro accessories to complete the look. Knits like these might seem like something that wouldn’t work in the summer, but with the right performance fabrics, the ventilation in the looser knit pieces will keep you cool without clinging to the body or absorbing sweat. . In Gee Chun’s knit has visible dotted ventilation that adds a fun pattern to the high end. When temperatures drop, these knits can also turn into great insulating pieces with the right layering.

Bucket hats are making a big comeback and with all the different colors and styles, it’s easy to find one that matches your unique golf look. Standout junior Anna Davis was arguably responsible for resurfacing bucket hats during the women’s golf style discussion earlier in April, when she won the Augusta National Women’s Amateur while wearing one. The 16-year-old provides inspiration for styling these fun headwear options: here, she wears two pigtails under a cropped bob, giving her a clean, youthful, and preppy look. Plus, the bucket hat design gives you extra sun protection around your head and neck.

Believe it or not, golf dresses can be some of the easiest pieces to style for the golf course. They’re especially tight when you’re rushing to your tee time – throw on a dress and you’ll look well-dressed and ready for your game almost immediately. Danielle Kang’s Adidas dress below is both sporty and practical for serious golfers, as it features pockets for ball markers and tees. Plus, the pockets are hidden away and don’t interrupt the dress’ flattering silhouette.

A great way to revamp your golf wardrobe for the summer without investing in a whole new set of clothes is to add some fun skirts into the mix. Bright colors and funky prints with lots of pleats, it’s a trend that anyone can participate in. Jenny Suh Thompson’s ‘Foray Golf’ skirt adds a memorable pop of color to an otherwise simple outfit. Patterned skirts like these can be styled in a variety of ways, but it’s always safe to pair them with a top and hat that matches one of the bottom colors. This way the look blends well without being too busy.

One trend that is sure to stay is UPF clothing. For many tour pros, like 19-year-old Thai Atthaya Thitikul, it’s key to staying stylish and well-protected from the sun on the course. Not only does the thin, athletic material protect your skin from harmful UV rays, it also features moisture-wicking technology that helps keep you cool and dry on hot summer days and is a great layering piece when temperatures cool down.

Whether it’s a layered collar or a stand-up collar, we’ve seen plenty of players on tour wear golf shirts that stray from the traditional golf polo shirt and we love it. Hannah Green wore a modern yet athletic white mockup to the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship that would be just as stylish off the course as she was. This twist on the conventional, classic golf shirt we’re used to is a great way to express your personal style. Just be sure to check the course dress code before trying this trend.
